WHAT: Sean Pratt presents, “Blah, Blah, Blah!” a day long workshop with Melissa Leebaert on Audio Demos & Acting Resumes
Melissa’s class, “Is Your Demo Blah?” will examine:
• If you have a demo, why isn’t it getting you work?
• If you’re thinking about a demo, how do you go about it and what do you put on it?
• When are you ready for a demo and how do you get it produced?
• We’ll review any demo CD’s you bring in. Too many people make a demo in haste and spend needless $$$$$. Let’s find out why!
Sean will present his class: “Your Resume – Extra, Extra, Read All About.” It will focus on:
• How to turn your resume into an eye catching document that will not only tell the Casting Director/Producer/Agent what you’ve DONE, but also what your TYPE is and where you are GOING with your career.
• Participants will be given a customized workbook which outlines the seminar presentation.
• Sean will review each actor’s resume during the class.
WHY: Because you don’t want your VO Demo to be BLAH, your resume to be BLAH and your career to be BLAH!
WHEN: Saturday, February 20th 2010 – From 10am to 5pm, with a 45 minute lunch break.
HOW:
• $150 cash, check or Pay Pal
• $135 for members of the following groups: AEA, SAG, AFTRA, WIFV, TIVA, Actors’ Center, Baltimore Theatre Alliance.
• $100 for Student Actors; must have valid ID.
• Class size is limited to ten students, only!
