Panel & Work-in-Progress Screening of Symphony of the Soil
Ann Yonkers of FRESHFARM Markets will moderate a short panel with
award-winning Director, Deborah Koons Garcia (³The Future of Food², 2004),Chef Cathal Armstrong of Restaurant Eve, Majestic and Eammons, Top Sommelier and Writer Derek Brown, and a FRESHFARM Markets farmer/producer.Deborah Koons Garcia will then present a special work-in-progress screeningof select clips from her upcoming multi-film project, SYMPHONY OF THE SOIL.
SYMPHONY OF THE SOIL (USA, work-in-progress, 40 min.) Symphony of the Soilis an upcoming multi-part documentary film series and web-based project. The project consists of a two-part feature film series, and a group of short films that examine select soil topics in greater depth.Light reception to follow screening.

Kids World Film Festival Committee Meeting
Kids World Film Festival Committee Interest Meeting!
The Kids World Film Festival promotes cultural understanding, conflict resolution, compassion, tolerance and peace. KWFF Committee Members review more than 35 films from around the globe annually and select those that best reflect the human condition through the eyes of children. The films are either in English, a foreign language with subtitles, or with no words at all.
In 2010. the classroom visits will commence in October and the international film festival will happen before Thanksgiving. If you are interested in working on this project with us please come to this meeting and learn about this fabulous program.
