Ariel Baska won the ReelAbilities Crip Script Pitch, a competitive pitching event that was held in New York City last week. Their project, MONSTROUS ME, received a special prize from Sunny Side of the Doc that includes participation in that festival’s pitch market in La Rochelle, France.
MONSTROUS ME has also just been awarded a grant from Virginia Humanities to support a series of exhibits, workshops, and the documentary film that explore the lack of disabilities representation in media.
