Long-time WIFV member and past board president, Dr. Carletta S. Hurt, recently launched BELLE Teen Magazine, a publication made for the young lady who is smart, stylish, and sassy! The premiere issue was released on February 1, 2025, with the theme of Reclaiming Yourself. This issue is packed with stories that cover depth and breadth of content – self-care, menstruation, leadership and filmmaking. Cameron Joy Gray, one of the premiere issue cover girls, was a participant in WIFV’s Image Makers which planted the seed for her interest in filmmaking. “Our cover girls exemplify our mission of showcasing the fullness of being a “BELLE” recognizing the power of beauty, education, leadership, leisure, and entrepreneurship,” shared Hurt.
